Dozens of residents rally in support of the Library

Leonia Life reports on the Council meeting of March 21, 2016. The Library is now facing a budget cut of $125,000 for 2016.

As noted by NorthJersey.com, "An estimated 50 supporters of the library rallied outside the Borough Hall Annex on March 7 to protest a draft of the municipal budget that would reduce the borough's contribution to the library by $225,000, from an expected $840,000 to just less than $615,000, calling on council members, the mayor and other borough officials to "Save our library!" as they walked into the building for a mayor and council work session.."
